Brrrrrr! AND...Another weekend storm?

As expected, the cold Artic air started spilling over our area early Tuesday morning bringing frigid wind chills and a dusting of snow.  Less than 48 hours later, the bay at the end of the West 11th and 12th Road Canal has started to surface freeze!

Luckily for us, tomorrow will bring daytime temperatures in the high 30's and overnight lows in the 20's through Saturday.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention...many weather models are now predicting the possibility of a weekend snow storm on Sunday to come up the coast. 

The weekend is still too far out to be definite and the system would have to move the large area of cold dry air that is sitting on top of us for our area to receive any significant accumulation.
