My last car has now been replaced w/another used vehicle; an expense I really can't afford. The former's breaks needed more work than the vehicle had in book value. Victim of the Jamaica Bay tide. GOOD THING NONE OF MY FAMILY WERE VICTIMS OF JAMAICA BAY HAVING ROTTED MY BREAKS AND THEIR SUBSEQUENT FAILURE.

BUT WHAT EMERGENCY??? We're not a highway or a bridge, nor are we a bird or a fish. What we are, are taxed without accompanying services. Now I see why people are having tea parties. I'll gladly fix it (the flooding problem) myself if my taxes are returned so I can fund it instead of paying salaries of people who work for me and somehow think they are not accountable. The sense of entitlement displayed by public officials when you consider how unresponsive they are, unless those who they are supposed to serve speak up and make waves, is outrageous and unacceptable.
